Congratulations on your Honourable Mention in our Spring Poetry contest. I've enclosed the judge's report on your poem, as we didn't have space to include it in this month's issue of our magazine. I hope you find these comments helpful and encouraging. Spring Poetry Contest Results, judged by Dr Yvette Prior It was a privilege to read the 122 poems submitted for this contest. Reading each entry was a pleasure, and narrowing the field to a final group of winners took several rounds of careful review. The variety of styles, voices, and approaches enriched the judging experience, and I appreciate the time, creativity, and faith each poet brought to the theme of Seasons. As I evaluated each poem, I considered originality, craftsmanship, effective use of imagery and language, a meaningful expression of faith, and how successfully the poem developed its theme. After several rounds of review, I selected the top three poems, along with three runner-up selections that also deserved recognition. Honourable Mention – Spring Springing!
