It is a delight to be part of Natasha Woodcraft’s blog for her new book. I actually feel honoured. She is a woman , whom the hand of God is clearly in control of her writing career. I see her becoming a legendary icon in the writing industry as an author. Just this week, her first book, ‘The Wanderer Scorned’ became a best seller in the whole of US and the UK!!!! This new book is the sequel. It is a book that definitely shows that the Creator of the universe never gives up on one. His goodness and mercy , we can’t fathom has the writer has shown through a character called Kayin, the first murderer on Earth! How did God handle this guy! My review is below: I thoroughly enjoyed ‘The Wanderer Scorned’ and its sequel - ‘The Wanderer Reborn’ is another great art, inspired by Genesis Chapter 4 in the Bible, which is equally amazing. It follows the major characters from book 1 –‘The Wanderer Scorned’, showing how the world was peopled from just the first couple [Adam and Chavah [Eve]] God created. I thought the author extremely ingenious in how she handled this! Through the author’s powerful voice using her characters excellently, the themes of faith, betrayal, forgiveness, mercy, trust, marriage and love issues are explored in ‘The Wanderer Reborn’. She brings out tension and suspense scenes brilliantly. The first murder on Earth is captured in this book! I found this read quite fascinating considering it is the story of Bible characters from thousands of years ago. The author’s use of ‘midrash’ - using Biblical fantasy to help readers have a deeper insight and vivid imagination on characters and incidents, the Bible leaves out, is very real and creative. Readers would be delighted to read of Kayin’s repentance and the way Awan was delivered from wild animals. This portrays how God listens to us and delivers us in ways we could never fathom. Throughout the two books, the characters constantly cry to Elohim in every trouble they face and communicate with Him like a friend. He answers and sometimes whispering through the wind. This is very encouraging and helps Christians not to feel formal and distant from Yahweh, their Heavenly Father. God’s protection, love and care are emphasized in this read. The Wanderer Reborn is definitely a journey of Salvation for each of the major characters, especially Kayin, who touched my heart for the curse of a fugitive over his life. Natasha Woodcraft has really done so well in relaying each character’s change of heart in a captivating and engaging manner. This is a read that embraces fans of romance, fantasy, intrigue, crime, biblical fiction, songs, poetry and more. To answer the author’s question –“Can hope triumph in the aftermath of murder?” Why not get this read on Amazon and on the author’s website and find out! This is a recommendable beautiful read worth its 5 stars.
