Writer's decluttering!

​WHAT  WOULD AUTHOR DECLUTERING LOOK LIKE???
 What  in the world does that mean? I hear someone say! I know. I thought about it as well when I got out a pen and wrote out all my commitments and responsibilities as a writer and human in 2022. This is what it looked like.

• Author events  [live and online] - 5
• Publishing books - 3
• Amazon KDP – 3
• YouTube channel – [8 videos]100 + followers
• Writer’s conference  -1
• Completing poetry anthology –  50 more poems
• Reviewed 30 books
• Responded to 365 MTW posts
• Twitter – 2,000 more followers
• Instagram – 12 posts, 70 new followers
• FB -365+ posts
• Happy New Month -200+  receivers
• Blog – 5 posts
• Zoom meetings -24
• ACW Email meetings  - 3
• Whsap posts/commitments – 365+
• Church activities
• Goodreads posting  - 12
• Books read - 30

Yours might be more or less – depending on how much ‘talents’ He gave you.  To some, He gave 5. To some others, He gave 3, and to some others, just 1 according to their abilities. Sometimes, I know I ave taken on more than I can chew and I wonder which ones to let go off without causing ‘offence’. There was a time I made up my mind to finish off my 2br list before accepting more. What do you do when a loyal writer friend needs your support? You know the answer. For me, I cannot say ‘No’. However, in life, writers should learn to apply wisdom for the benefit of their wellbeing.
And so back to decluttering, is it wise to do so? It is wise to do so.
